What kind of transportation is available?

All guests can use Habitat's complimentary town shuttle to go to Willemstad. The shuttle departs Habitat at 9am, 2pm, and 6.30pm. To return to Habitat, you can board the shuttle at the tourist bus stop at 9.30am, 2.30pm and 7pm.

If you wish to tour the island, many different sightseeing, adventure and cultural tours can be arranged through the front desk.

You can also rent Harley Davidson Motorcycles or mopeds in Curacao.

Should I rent a car?

If you are planning an active vacation, or wish to shore dive around the island, we do suggest that you rent a car. This is the best option to allow you maximum flexibility to see Curacao's many attractions, as well as visit Curacao's picture perfect beaches: Knip Baai and Klein Knip on the West coast.

You can include car rental with your hotel package from North America, pick up a pre-arranged car rental at the airport, or rent a car upon arrival from the many international rental chains.

If you are not sure that you would like a car during your stay, please contact our representative in North America or Europe, your travel agent, or ask us upon arrival. Our representatives or your travel agent can recommend a car rental company in Curacao or help with your car rental reservations and include it in your vacation package.
